Limboland
I'm almost over the jet lag but for the occasional dizziness that for some reason won't go away (no, I'm not pregnant; yes, I"ve been eating; no, my ponytail is not too tight). Being away from the computer and knitting, for the most part, was a good break. We got to ride our bikes and not keep track of time; drive around the countryside looking for rocks to climb; walk around town hand in hand, sharing ein bretzel or un helado; succumb to curiosity and look at things and buildings and take pictures. It was so relaxing.
Regular posting will be postponed until the middle of next week, I theeenk, because I'm still in vacation mode. In the meantime, I'd like to share some of the other blogs I've been reading; maybe you'll find them as interesting as I have.
- Time Magazine recently published its 50 Coolest Websites of 2005, even though the year is only half over. Whatever, right? Here's the Blogs section.
- Petite Anglaise is a Brit living in Paris. She is quite a good storyteller. I think I found her through Kate, so a belated thanks to her!
- Waiter Rant is a New York waiter's blog. The apostrophes show up as code on my Mac; a little irritating, but not enough to detract from his stories.
- Fussy has bite.
- Infrangible has good pictures and a nice blog design.
- I Was Just Really Very Hungry's post on strawberries reminded me of our walk in the quarry outside Nuremberg, where wild strawberries grew like red-dotted rugs on the ground. Aargh! I'm thinking of vacation again!!!
Enjoy your weekend!
