It's all in the details

Got back yesterday evening, it was a looong flight! Barcelona was nice, but the countryside was even better. I took pictures, didn't buy much souvenirs, as we were just trying to enjoy the moment and not get caught up in acquiring stuff. Gotta get some rest. Will post more this week.

I finally have a good photo showing the yarn I'm using for the smock jacket in its multicolored glory. It's Baruffa/Lane Borgosesia's Aerobic, a 100% 4-ply merino yarn that's been long discontinued. Anyway, from far the yarn has a delicate lilac color, but upon closer inspection it's actually a mottled mix of blues and pinks.
