Cable Rib Socks

Back with a vengeance! Or at least until I finish answering all your emails. Thank you for commenting on my posts while I was gone; I am returning the favor by answering back but it may take a few days.

Another submission to Emy's Baby Knitalong. Hah, these were easy-peasy! These socks were knit for our friends' daughter, back in Nurnberg/Nuremberg. I've been told they fit. Yay! Below I present their progress in the Spain series:

Cable Rib Baby Socks

Still life with Hotel Peninsular room key, Barcelona.
The beginning of a sock.

Cable Rib Baby Socks

Still life with Obelix (from my only Kinder egg) and BF's muesli, Barcelona.
2x2 cable rib cuff.

Cable Rib Baby Socks

Still life with crunchy apple and Rodellar climbing topo, Tarragona.
Mastering the short row heel.

Cable Rib Baby Socks

Still life on bathroom tile of really nice hostel, Barbastro.
The top of the foot.

Cable Rib Baby Socks

Still life on map, Huesca/Osca.
After the short row heel and before binding off.

Cable Rib Baby Socks

Still life on window sill of the best hostel we ever stayed in, Las Almunias.
The finished pair.

Gorgeous socks, gorgeous pics. Anything else I say would be redundant, but saying just that sounds so...perfunctory. Hmmm...the blog commenting quandary.

Hooray for Europe! ;)

Adorable socks!

I covet your spinning abilities. Everytime I look at your yarn I get envious. I want to be like you. My attempts at spinning have been disastrous thus far.
