Why, it's a Clapotis!

Liz said it best in her March 8th entry:
"I too am giving in to the Clap-Monster taking over knittyland."
There are a number of reasons why a lot of knitters are making or have made Kate's Clapotis. It's a good pattern, a quick and easy project, a versatile accesory, and it looks fabulous in solid or multicoloured yarn.
I'm using fingering weight yarn that Mia gave me for Christmas. It's not worsted, as I want a lighter version for spring to early fall (translated as March to December, pretty much). I love that the increases and YOs don't encourage too much pooling or color weirdness. And darn it, Mia, you made eBay even more dangerous than it already is!
Found Online: Puppy Purses. Cute or disturbing?

I can be even more dangerous. I haven't got you hooked on my all time favorite Cherry Tree. Check your email tomorrow for a new message. And I love your Clapotis.
Oh man. Those "purses" are totally freaking disturbing. Why can't the dogs just walk?
I suppose I could understand why you might not want the dog to be on the ground, but those purses are just awful! I definitely vote for disturbing.
What a beautiful colorway you've chose for your Clapotis! What was the name of it? I always have such a hard time imagining the knitted fabrics from the skeined yarn.
Puppy purses...now I've seen everything. Although, I don't think my 70lb Lab would take kindly to being a purse!
Beautiful Clapotis!
well, if you're gonna get the clap, that's the way to go. Gorgeous yarn choice you have there, my dear!
Love the colors - got to start mine soon. I'm going to say no on the puppy purses....
Your clapotis looks so pretty. I love the colors. I may have to make this........might be perfect for covering up while nursing. Do you think it's big enough?
Cherry Tree Clapotis!? OOH! What a fabulous idea... and I think I might have enough 'Quarry Hill' too.
