ABOUT My name is Mary Joy and this is my craft blog. I lived the climbing lifestyle in Europe for 3 years, starting in Germany, through Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Greece, and Turkey, and finally settling in the south of France. Now I'm back in Southern California and currently working as a freelance graphic designer. I still climb: in case you're curious, I redpoint 7c+. I knit on off days.

Furthermore I read more than 52 books in 52 weeks. Reading is a lifelong passion. These are my book lists for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.

And I like to take photographs. I use a little 6mp point-and-shoot, with minimal post-processing in Adobe Photoshop. I participated in Sundara's Eye Candy Friday for a while.
